Schools in Albertville, MN are part of the St. Michael-Albertville Independent School District. There are seven schools in the district as well as two alternative academies. The schools include the new St. Michael-Albertville High School for grades 9-12, the St. Michael-Albertville Middle School East and West for grades 5-8, St. Michael Elementary School, Fieldstone Elementary School and Big Woods Elementary School for grades 1-4 and Albertville Primary School for kindergarten-aged children. Albertville, MN cares about the environment and that is why our town encourages recycling. Wright Recycling picks up your recyclable materials every other Thursday except on Thanksgiving Day. All recyclables should be left on your curb by 7:00 a.m. on the pickup day to ensure they get picked up. Papers should be gathered in a paper bag and cardboard pieces should be bundled with twine in bundles no larger than 3' by 3'. Also, glass, cans and plastics should be placed in a paper bag as well. Albertville is home to several clean and lush parks throughout the area. The Four Seasons Park is located at 11830 51st Street NE and has playground equipment for the kids, a shelter, gazebo, tennis courts and also basketball courts. Oakside Park at 10820 Kantar Court NE has a baseball field, a soccer field, tennis courts and a playground. Winter Park is one of Albertville's newest parks and it includes a baseball field, basketball court, green nature areas a playground and more. Other parks throughout the community include Westwind Park, Villas Park, Albertville Central Park next to City Hall, Linwood Park and Towne Lakes Park. The Roy Simms Library just minutes away from Albertville, MN is available for all your information needs. As part of the Great River Regional Library (GRRL) service, the library offers programs for adults like crafts, genealogy classes, talks with authors and much more.
